BABYMETAL is a Japanese kawaii metal band from Tokyo, formed in 2010 around vocalists Su-metal, Moametal and Momometal. Their music fuses heavy metal with Japanese idol choreography, backed by the Kami Band session musicians. Albums such as "BABYMETAL" (2014), "Metal Resistance" (2016) and "Metal Forth" (2025) brought international tours. Live shows pair elaborate dance routines with crushing metal arrangements.
