Antioch Arrow

Antioch Arrow is an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California, that formed in 1992 and issued most of its early music on Gravity Records. Their sound moved from straightforward hardcore on "The Lady Is A Cat" (1993) to spastic, noisy screamo on "In Love With Jetts" (1994), then gothic synthesizers on the posthumous "Gems Of Masochism" (1995). The group broke up in 1994 and is cited as a pioneer of screamo and an anchor of the 1990s San Diego post-hardcore scene. Live sets from that era were raw, fast underground shows on U.S. tours before the band ended mid-tour in 1994.
