AC/DC is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. Their hard rock is built on blues-based riffs, a sound the band itself simply calls rock and roll. After "Highway to Hell" (1979) and the death of singer Bon Scott, Brian Johnson fronted "Back in Black" (1980), one of the best-selling albums of all time. Guitarist Angus Young is known for performing in a schoolboy uniform.
