For this edition of Club Culture we welcome Rødhåd, the Berlin-based DJ, producer, and founder of Dystopian and WSNWG, whose deep, powerful, and melancholic approach has made him one of the defining figures in contemporary techno. Shaped by Berlin’s legendary loop techno nights, his sound moves fluidly between dub, techno, and house, balancing emotional depth with relentless forward momentum.

Before becoming an international force, Rødhåd spent over a decade refining his craft within Berlin’s underground, developing the singular style and immersive storytelling that now define his sets. The launch of Dystopian in 2009 marked a turning point, creating a platform dedicated to uncompromising techno during a period of oversaturation within the city’s club scene. What began as a party series quickly evolved into one of the most respected imprints in modern techno.

While his productions and remixes have earned widespread acclaim, DJing remains at the core of his identity. Known for extended sets built with patience, tension, and emotional weight, Rødhåd creates journeys that continuously elevate the dancefloor through hypnotic movement and atmospheric depth. Alongside releases on Dystopian, his WSNWG label further explores collaborative and experimental territory developed with close peers in his East Berlin studio.

Joining him is Infra resident Niqi, the Iranian DJ, producer, and qanun player whose background in classical piano and traditional instrumentation informs a deeply musical and expressive approach to electronic music. Her sets weave together texture, emotion, and movement into immersive journeys shaped by both technical precision and instinct.
