Pints on the Patio featuring Obscure Notation

Obscure Notation, a New England–based jazz‑blues fusion group. We blend classic repertoire with original compositions, drawing inspiration from artists of the 1960s through the 1990s, including ECM musicians, jazz innovators, and blues legends. Our sound is shaped by decades of collective experience, and we enjoy moving fluidly between atmospheric fusion, straight‑ahead jazz, and soulful blues. The ensemble is made up of seasoned musicians with backgrounds in music education, composition, and performance, including members trained at Berklee College of Music, where they studied with Gary Burton, Alan Dawson, Pat Metheny, Joe Pass, and other notable artists.
