Meet New York Times bestselling horror author Paul Tremblay (A Head Full of Ghosts, The Cabin at the End of the World, Horror Movie), along with Jilly Gagnon (Cards on the Table w/Lana Harper, What If It’s You?) for signings and quick chats about their latest work. Sip your way through the stacks with a Rapscallion craft beer or signature cocktail and grab a bite from the kitchen while you browse curated tables from The Purple Couch Bookshop, each stacked with picks across different genres — edge‑of‑your‑seat thrillers, swoony romance, mind‑bending sci‑fi, memoir, horror, and more. Get your fix choosing stickers, bookmarks, journals and bookish goodies you wouldn’t be allowed to bring home from school. Once the last page is browsed, stick around for Book Fair Trivia: Dark & Stormy Edition — teams face off on literary trivia (authors, plot twists, banned books, horror classics, and a few local history and pop‑culture curveballs) for bragging rights and prizes. No parental restrictions, no book fair bucks — just frothy drinks, hand-crafted eats, a little friendly competition, and books galore. The authors can’t stay all night, so there will be time slots for signings available for free sign-up. We will have copies of both authors’ books on hand.
