Maurice the Music w/ JUST HOLDEN

Maurice the Music w/ JUST HOLDEN live at Eddie's Attic!

Maurice grew up in foster care, group homes, and juvenile detention, where music found him early - guitar, piano, trombone, whatever he could get his hands on. He writes, produces, and performs everything himself, blending country and R&B into something that doesn't have a name yet but stops people mid-stride.

He took his talents to the only stage that would have him - the street. He performed crosswalk concerts and sidewalk shows across the country, building a fanbase one city at a time. No label. No machine. Just a voice, his songs, and a crowd that wasn't there five minutes ago.

He's shared the stage with Morgan Wallen, turned heads on American Idol, and racked up millions of views from strangers gathering on random street corners to hear him play. His fans - Da Kinfolks - vote on where he goes next, and he shows up.

Maurice doesn't wait to be discovered. He walks outside and plays.

He knows where he came from, and his faith continues to pull him through. He plays for every kid who needs to see that a rough start isn't a sentence. If he turned his story into this, they can turn theirs into anything.

JUST HOLDEN

“A military veteran and former church worship leader, Holden found his voice through music, where songwriting became a form of therapy and a way to connect with others. As Just Holden, he creates honest, lyrical music rooted in real life, with the hope of reaching people, telling stories, and making them feel understood.”
