About the concert
Mary Chicken Soup And Rice (MCSR) is the immersive rock-and-roll theater of LA-based musician, playwright, and filmmaker Matthew Dunehoo. A channeled trickster spirit in smeared face paint and tattered suits, MCSR delivers purgatorial theatrics—part psychedelic séance, part manic episode, part communal ritual—driven by live electric guitar, squawking vocals, and alien choir backtracks. Debut album “Que Linda” honors his late mother Linda, who painted the cover before passing from ovarian cancer in 2024.
