Mary Chicken Soup And Rice

Mary Chicken Soup And Rice is the theatrical rock project of Los Angeles musician, playwright, and filmmaker Matthew Dunehoo. Squawking vocals and live guitar meet alien choir backtracks over post-punk and shoegaze textures. Debut album "Que Linda" (2025, Clearly Records) honors Linda, his mother, who painted its cover before ovarian cancer took her in 2024. Live sets unfold as séances in face paint and tattered suits, led as a one-man band.
