Ladies in Frequency: Lady Liz BK's Birthday Launch with Chia Minaya

Lady Liz BK presents the official launch of Ladies in Frequency — a new community created for women DJs to play, connect and be heard.

There couldn't be a more fitting place to launch it than Pixelated Records in Ridgewood.

This night brings together friends, music and community to celebrate three new chapters: the launch of Ladies in Frequency, Lady Liz BK's birthday, and Chia Minaya & Russ — known together as Pixelated Party — and the new home they've created with Pixelated Records.

Chia has been part of NYC's DJ and music community for years, and this night is also about celebrating a woman helping build a space for DJs, artists and community, alongside her husband and creative partner, Russ.

At the heart of Ladies in Frequency is a simple idea: create more space for women DJs to get behind the decks, meet one another, share music, build relationships and be heard.

Whether you're touching the decks for the first time, developing your sound, or you've been DJing for years, you're welcome. Come play, connect, collaborate, network, support other women in music — or simply come dance and celebrate with us.

OPEN DECKS • 6–10 PM
30-minute DJ sets • All experience levels welcome
After open decks, the celebration continues until 2 AM with Lady Liz BK, Chia Minaya + friends.
