The Pitts — Katie Cash is joined by her brother Pete Colpitts (The Loudmouths, The Young Offenders, Blank Pile) and brother from another mother, Jae Rouse (Cholula Caliente of Muñecas) to reunite their project, THE PITTS as Dead Moon for this Halloween hit. Katie Cash has been a rock n' roll staple in the California Bay Area for over 30 years, sharing stages with Iggy and The Stooges, LP, Detroit Cobras, The Muffs, Cris Williamson, JD Samson, Bitch, John Cameron Mitchell and many more. Cash is an award-winning singer/songwriter/guitarist for her solo project, Katie Cash Band as well as “Black Dyke Rock” band, Skip The Needle. Build A Rocket — Build A Rocket is a Bay Area/California Delta alternative indie rock band led by Jen Kirk Carlson, a longtime San Francisco music native (founding member of Bad Cop Bad Cop, Angry Amputees and Compton SF). The band blends melodic, guitar-driven songwriting with a raw, delta vibe, arriving somewhere between the Pixies, Hot Water Music and Lucinda Williams. The current line up of Build A Rocket came together after Jen Carlson and Jason Taylor met in a Delta ghost town bar and pulled a guitar off the wall to start jamming. The band later filmed the video for “Last Call” in that same bar, and still carries that same late-night river town atmosphere — equal parts punk rock, dive bars, desert highways, and Northern California melancholy.
