MAIDEN MARE — Maiden Mare is the songwriting project of East Bay–based musician Hall McCann. McCann’s dreamy, deliberate vocals shape the emotional and narrative arc of her folk- and country-inspired songs within the band’s raw, amplified sound. Maiden Mare’s sonic textures and lyrical imagery conjure both the gnarled rust and verdant mountains of McCann’s Northeast roots and the golden, rolling hills of California.
