About the concert

dance/electronic disco electronic house techno

Shawescape Renegade, DR. Disko Dust, Scott Zacharias and more played at Northern Lights Lounge in Detroit on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 8:00 PM. DR. Disko Dust last played Northern Lights Lounge just last week.

ELIXIR residents John Ryan aka Dr. Disko Dust & Nick Kothari aka Phunhouse host a special installment of ELIXIR. This will be a tribute nite to the music of Drexciya / James Stinson, on the 24th anniversary of his passing. Shawescape Renegade (Tresor) will join the lineup to bring his vibe to the decks. Also in the mix will be the techno energy of DJ K2 (Kent Sherman) of NYC. Expect a bit of electro in the mix and selections from the 7 storm series LPs that are now legendary, as well as other Drexciya inspirations and contemporaries.
