Yung Bae

Yung Bae is the stage name of Dallas Cotton, an LA-based American future funk producer who rose from Portland, Oregon's underground scene. His sound blends 1970s funk and disco, smooth jazz, hip-hop, and Japanese city pop into a colorful vapor-bounce style built on curated samples. His prolific Bae series and albums such as "Groove Continental" and "6AE" feature guests including Nile Rodgers and Channel Tres, and his viral single "Bad Boy" with bbno$ brought future funk to wider audiences. Club sets draw on a catalog of nine albums and cult online fandom for dancefloor grooves.
