Yarn is an Americana and alternative country band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2006 and now based in North Carolina. Led by songwriter Blake Christiana, the group tells stories in its songs, truth and fiction alike. It honed its sound in a two year residency at Kenny's Castaways in Greenwich Village and has landed on the Grammy ballot four times. Yarn plays up to 170 dates a year.
