Word of Command

Word of Command is Daniel Leyva, a Brooklyn DJ and techno artist whose sets weld fevered collage and high-octane techno into hallucinatory ecstasy. Influenced by his Cuban-American upbringing, he mixes raw power with subversive strangeness in the US underground. He co-founded FIST (Fun Is Still Transgressive), a queer techno party in New York, in 2016, with a residency at BASEMENT since 2019. His DJ sets are known for hard-edged rigor and relentless, sweat-drenched energy on the dancefloor.
