Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra

Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra is a Los Angeles ensemble that fuses early Jamaican ska with big-band jazz. The project pairs horn-driven ska arrangements with a West Coast pool of players from ska and jazz groups. "Western Standard Time Volume 1" was recorded in 2011 and released in 2012. Live sets feature a large ska orchestra lineup built for festival and club stages.
