The Skeletones are a Southern California ska band tied to the third-wave scene that grew from local punk and ska clubs. Their music blends ska with reggae, soul, rock, and punk, built around horns and skanking guitar grooves. Paul Hampton introduced the group on "Introducing The Skeletones" in 1988. Live sets lean on brass-heavy arrangements and danceable ska rhythms at West Coast clubs and festivals.
