Wax Motif is the stage name of Australian-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Daniel Chien, known for shaping modern U.S. house music. His sound draws on R&B, disco, and U.K. bass within house, bass house, and G-house. He founded Divided Souls Records in 2019 and released his debut album "House of Wax" in 2022. DJ sets blend G-house into high-energy club mixing, with support from Dom Dolla, John Summit, FISHER, and Chris Lake.
