Walshy Fire

Walshy Fire is a Miami-born DJ, MC, and producer, and one third of Major Lazer alongside Diplo and Ape Drums. His sound draws on dancehall, reggae, soca, and Caribbean club traditions through his Rum & Bass sets. After touring with Black Chiney from 2004 and joining Major Lazer in 2012, he launched Walshy Fire Presents and released ABENG in 2019. On stage he pairs MC commentary with grooves rooted in carnival culture.
