Violent Magic Orchestra (VMO) is an Osaka-based art project that fuses black metal aesthetics with the rush of hard trance and gabber. The group calls its sound a sci-fi fusion of black metal, gabber, cyberpunk, performance art and techno. The 2024 album "DEATH RAVE" features guests including Attila Csihar of Mayhem. Live, VMO is known for intense audiovisual sets built on strobes and smoke.
