Video Sex Priest is a Milwaukee duo of Liv Mueller and Bill Backes, formed after both played in the rock band The Lovelies. Their songs blend new wave, darkwave, and post-punk with deep, moody textures and otherworldly melodies. Mueller led The Lovelies in Milwaukee before the trio split in the mid-2000s. Live performances lean into shadowy, transportive atmospheres built for small clubs.
