University of Manitoba Symphony Orchestra

The University of Manitoba Symphony Orchestra is the orchestra of the Desautels Faculty of Music in Winnipeg, made up mainly of the faculty's string, wind, brass and percussion students. It is also open by audition to university staff and community players. The repertoire spans baroque works, the classical and romantic canon and contemporary premieres, and members are coached by Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra musicians.
