Underscores

Underscores is the stage name of American singer-songwriter and producer April Harper Grey, born in San Francisco in 2000. Her hyperpop blends dubstep production with pop-punk, rock, and Midwest emo textures. 2021 debut "Fishmonger" brought wider attention before she opened for 100 gecs, followed by "Wallsocket" (2023) and "U" (2026). Live sets deliver maximalist, genre-hopping energy for underground dance floors.
