Underoath

Underoath is an American metalcore band formed in 1997 in Ocala, Florida, and based in Tampa. They pair screamed and sung vocals with metalcore riffs, drawing on post-hardcore, screamo and emo. The gold-certified "Define the Great Line" (2006) reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and "On My Teeth" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Loudwire has counted them among modern metalcore's "Big Four".
