True Widow is an American rock trio formed in 2007 in Dallas, Texas. Drop-tuned, slow guitar figures and hushed male-female vocals define their self-described "stonegaze" sound. Albums include the 2008 debut "True Widow," "Circumambulation" (2013) and "Avvolgere" (2016). Live sets lean on heavy, spacious riffs and long, trance-like dynamics.
