The Travelin' McCourys is a Nashville bluegrass band formed in 2009 by brothers Ronnie McCoury on mandolin and Rob McCoury on banjo, both longtime members of the Del McCoury Band. Their progressive bluegrass leans into jam-scene improvisation, extended solos and unexpected covers. Their self-titled 2018 album won the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album, and they also tour "The Grateful Ball," a Grateful Dead tribute.
