Too $hort is a West Coast hip-hop pioneer from Oakland whose career has spanned more than four decades. His records mix explicit street tales with singles such as "Blow the Whistle" and "The Ghetto." Albums including "Born to Mack" and "Life Is...Too Short" built a lasting Oakland rap legacy, and he co-founded Mount Westmore with Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and E-40. Live sets carry the raw energy that made him one of West Coast rap's defining voices.
