Timmy Regisford

Timmy Regisford is a Trinidadian born American DJ and producer who founded the New York club night Shelter in 1991. His long sets blend Afro jazz, Latin jazz, house, disco, funk and R&B, and he is regarded as a pioneer of soulful house. He worked as an A&R executive at Atlantic, MCA, Motown and DreamWorks and remixed tracks for Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and Bobby Womack. He is a member of the Dance Music Hall of Fame.
