They Might Be Giants is an American alternative rock band formed in Brooklyn in 1982 by John Flansburgh and John Linnell. Their songs are known for surreal, humorous lyrics, experimental styles and unconventional instruments. "Flood" (1990) went platinum, and the band won Grammys for "Boss of Me", the Malcolm in the Middle theme, and the children's album "Here Come the 123s".
