bluescountry blues
The Yawpers are a rock and roll trio from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2011 and led by singer Nate Cook. They play Americana and punk-tinged blues on two acoustic guitars and drums, with no bass. Signed to Bloodshot Records after a 2015 South by Southwest showcase, they released "American Man" (2015) and the World War I concept album "Boy in a Well" (2017). Live they play with the raucous energy of a metal band.
