The Walrus Allstars

The Walrus Allstars are a rotating Bridgeport, Connecticut ensemble led by musical director Rob Maresca that stages an annual tribute to The Band's 1976 farewell concert. Their Last Waltzrus show recreates the Winterland Ballroom set with roots-rock arrangements, guest vocalists, and deep cuts from The Band's catalog. Joe Farrell of WalrusAlley launched the Thanksgiving-week tradition in 2014, and it has run annually for more than a decade. Live, nearly 20 local artists pack Park City Music Hall for a communal singalong-scale recreation of rock's most famed farewell.
