The String Queens

The String Queens are a Washington, D.C. women's string trio of violinist Kendall Isadore, violist Dawn Johnson, and cellist Élise Sharp. Their sound blends classical technique with jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and popular repertoire from Chick Corea to Michael Jackson. In 2021 they performed at the "We Are One" Presidential Inauguration Concert and presented their Harry Styles "Golden" arrangement at Wimbledon. Live programs range from Baroque works to Billboard hits, delivered as educator-driven storytelling for diverse audiences.
