The Stitches are a 1970s-style punk rock band from Orange County, California, led by vocalist Michael Lohrman and guitarist Johnny Witmer. Their raw, snotty sound draws on Sex Pistols-era punk with explosive gut-level energy. Their 1994 debut single "Sixteen" on Vinyl Dog helped spark the late-1990s snotty punk wave. Live sets are known for unpredictable, high-energy performances on the Orange County punk circuit.
