The Spinners

The Spinners are a Detroit-formed R&B vocal group whose smooth harmonies and polished stage presence made them pillars of classic soul. After Motown's "It's a Shame" in 1970, they teamed with producer Thom Bell to define Philadelphia soul on hits like "I'll Be Around" and "The Rubberband Man." They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023 after a career spanning more than six decades. Live shows showcase their hallmark harmonies and a catalog that remains a cornerstone of classic soul.
