The Soul Rebels

The Soul Rebels are an eight-piece New Orleans brass band blending traditional street-band roots with funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz, and rock. Formed in 1991, they expanded pop and radio hits within the city's brass-band tradition. Their album Poetry in Motion arrived in 2019, following appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and NPR's Tiny Desk with GZA. Live sets harness horn-driven party energy built around top-tier musicianship and cross-genre collaborations.
