The Scratch are an Irish band from Dublin that fuse Irish traditional music with heavy metal. Acoustic guitars, cajon, and gang vocals drive rousing songs that mix folk reels with rock energy. Albums include "Couldn't Give a Rats" (2020) and "Mind Yourself" (2023), a Choice Music Prize nominee. Live shows are loud, communal singalongs built around trad-metal mashups.
