The Pietasters

The Pietasters are a ska band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1990. Their music blends ska, rocksteady, soul and punk rock. Records such as "Oolooloo" (1995), "Willis" (1997) and "Turbo" (2002) came out on labels including Moon Ska and Hellcat, and in 2002 the band backed James Brown at a sold-out Washington concert. They have toured widely in the U.S. and Europe, including the Warped Tour.
