The Manhattans Featuring Gerald Alston

r&bsoul

The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston are an American R&B vocal group from Jersey City, led by soul singer Gerald Alston. Their music blends smooth close harmonies with classic soul and R&B ballads. Alston sang lead on the 1976 number-one hit "Kiss and Say Goodbye" and the Grammy-winning "Shining Star" (1980). Their live shows draw on decades of chart hits in high-energy soul revivals.
