The Lowest Pair is an American folk duo of banjoists Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee, formed in 2013. Their songs pair stark lyricism with string-driven arrangements, often weighing grief against joy in life's uneven cycles. Their eighth album, "Always As Young As Well Ever Be," was produced by Tucker Martine of the Decemberists. Live, they blend intertwined harmonies with responsive banjo and guitar interplay.
