The Longest Johns are a folk group from Bristol, England, formed in 2012. They sing sea shanties and folk songs in the English tradition, mostly a cappella, alongside original material. Their recording of "Wellerman" from "Between Wind and Water" (2018) went viral on TikTok in early 2021 and sparked a wider wave of interest in sea shanties.
