The Konks were a Boston garage-rock trio of Kurt Davis, Bob Wilson, and Jon Porth, rooted in punk and rockabilly. Their sound is raw, stripped-down rock and roll driven by Wilson's guitar and Davis's snare-on-a-milk-crate kit. They released a self-titled debut on Bomp! in 2005 and "Nerves" in 2010 before a 2011 farewell at Great Scott. Shows were notoriously loose, loud club bashes tied to the city's garage scene.
