The Goddamn Gallows

The Goddamn Gallows are a Michigan-rooted band from America's Rust Belt, formed in 2004 with a twanged-out punk rock gutterbilly base. They added washboard, accordion, mandolin, and banjo to a sound dubbed hobocore or americana-punk, folding in psychobilly, bluegrass, and metal. Records such as "Life of Sin" (2004), "Ghost of the Rails" (2009), and "The Trial" (2018) map that shift. Shows mix impromptu shocks, eclectic instruments, and volatile carnival energy.
