The Fretwells are a Southern Oregon Americana project led by songwriter Jimmy Fretwell. Their songs mix folk, country and roots storytelling with a weathered voice and wry, unsentimental lyrics. Fretwell's album "Analog Dream" drew on decades of writing after years away from the road. Live shows favor honest, lived-in performances that lean funny as often as tender.
