The Exploited
rockpunk
The Exploited are a Scottish punk band from Edinburgh, led throughout their history by singer Wattie Buchan. They began in street punk and oi! with aggressive anti-authority lyrics, and moved toward crossover thrash with "Death Before Dishonour" (1987). Their debut "Punks Not Dead" (1981) made them a defining early 1980s British punk act, and the term "UK 82" comes from one of their songs.
