The Angry Samoans are a hardcore punk band from Los Angeles formed in 1978 by "Metal" Mike Saunders, Gregg Turner and their early lineup. Their songs skewer pop culture with serrated guitars and snotty humor. Studio LPs include "Back from Samoa" (1982) and "STP Not LSD" (1988). Live, they are known for blistering short sets and the Hollywood club backlash over "Get Off the Air".
