The Cover Girls

The Cover Girls are a New York City freestyle girl group founded in 1986 by producer Andy "Panda" Tripoli and promoter Sal Abbatiello. Their debut album "Show Me" (1986) was followed by "We Can't Go Wrong" (1989), whose title track reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Wishing on a Star" became another top 10 hit, and the group has gone through many lineup changes over the years.
