The Commonheart is a rock and soul band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, led by vocalist Clinton Clegg. Horn sections and backup singers frame bluesy, vintage soul and rock songs with gospel-tinged group vocals and uplifting themes. Full-lengths include "Grown," "Pressure," and "For Work or Love" (2022) on Jullian Records. Live, the large ensemble delivers sweat-soaked, revival-style sets centered on Clegg's raspy, emotive singing.
