The Brothers Comatose

rockpop

The Brothers Comatose are a five piece string band from San Francisco, founded by brothers Ben and Alex Morrison. They fuse old school bluegrass instrumentation with rock and roll exuberance and rich vocal harmonies. The debut "Songs From The Stoop" (2010) was followed by "City Painted Gold" (2016) and "Golden Grass" (2025). Their raucous live shows have earned slots at Outside Lands and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
