The Beach Boys

The Beach Boys are an American rock band formed in Hawthorne, California, in 1961 by the three Wilson brothers, Mike Love and Al Jardine. Their records pair close vocal harmonies with surf and car songs and intricate studio pop. "Surfin' Safari" (1962) began a run of hits that led to "Pet Sounds" (1966) and "Good Vibrations". They entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and Mike Love leads the touring lineup.
